Abstract
A tolerance interval is a random interval that includes a proportion of the population under study with a certain level of confidence and is used in many applications, including reliability and quality control. In this paper, we derive a two-sided tolerance interval for an exponential population based on record data. An example of real record data is provided. Finally, we investigate the accuracy of the presented tolerance intervals using a simulation study.
