Abstract
A picture of the scientific life of one of the famous contemporary statisticians. This dialogue, which contains interesting educational and research points, can be beneficial to students, faculty members, and other readers, according to the translator. The aim of this translation is to familiarize Iranian statisticians with Professor Samad Hedayat and his scientific life. He is one of the intellectuals who is a source of pride for Iranian statisticians and academics. May his scientific life be a good example for the statistical community.
