Abstract
In probability theory, the Borel-Cantley lemma is of particular importance; in this article, the general form of the Borel-Cantley lemma is first stated. The first part of this lemma includes the convergence assumption and the second part includes the divergence and independence assumptions. The following is a discussion of generalizations related to the first and second parts of this lemma. In most of the generalizations of the second part, the independence condition, pairwise independence, weakening and elimination of the independence condition have been examined.
