In this paper, the exploration plans introduced in Srivastava (1975) are reviewed. In a particular problem, there may be several exploration plans with the same number of executions. The discussion of criteria for evaluating exploration plans is another topic raised in this paper. Criteria based on exploration probability and expected Kulback-Leibler are presented along with examples.
