Abstract
Meta-analysis means performing statistical analysis on the results of a large number of independent studies in order to combine their findings. To facilitate meta-analysis, software is needed. There are many statistical software available for performing meta-analysis. The aim of this study is to present the statistical packages available in the R software for performing meta-analysis. First, a brief explanation of meta-analysis, the statistical methods used in it, and the software that can be used to perform it is given. Then, the packages available in the R software are introduced, the functions available in the rmeta package are described, and an example will be given for each of the functions.
