Abstract
A tolerance interval is a random interval that includes a proportion of the population under study with a certain level of confidence and is used in many applications, including reliability and quality control. In this tutorial, we will examine different methods for calculating the tolerance interval for a binomial random variable using the tolerance package in the R statistical software.
