Abstract
Here, an M/M/1 queue with feedback is examined, in which a disaster occurs in the event of a server failure, and after the server is repaired, the system starts working again. When a disaster occurs, the system collapses and the applicant does not visit the system until the repair time is over. Transient state solutions are presented for the probability function of the system size, and using them, steady state analyses are performed, and some measures of the effectiveness of the system are introduced. Then, the results are used to investigate and model the performance of a bank ATM, and in order to observe and optimize the performance of the said machine, the effects of changing parameters on the measures of the effectiveness of the system are examined. Finally, with the help of R software, the system performance is simulated and the results obtained are compared with the expected values.
