Abstract
In this article, we first examine the probability density function and failure rate function of several families of exponential distributions. Then, we present their properties, including the mathematical expectation, variance, moments, and likelihood estimate, and identify the most flexible distribution according to the graph of their probability density function and failure rate function. Finally, we present some practical examples of them.
