Abstract
Many point process models have been proposed for studying various scientific disciplines such as geology, medicine, astronomy, forestry, environment, etc. The issue of evaluating the fit of these models is important. Residual-based methods are suitable tools for evaluating the goodness of fit of spatial point process models. In this paper, first, the concepts related to Voronoi residuals are reviewed, then, after fitting a cluster point process to the Guilan forest tree position dataset, the proposed model is evaluated using these residuals.
