Abstract
Unfortunately, in the last few years, the decline in academic motivation among students at different levels of education has increased and has affected many educational units in the country's universities, and this can have destructive and irreparable effects in the not-so-distant future. In this study, using statistical analysis of a number of questionnaires, social factors on the lack of motivation of students at Persian Gulf University of Bushehr were investigated, and the relationship between each of the variables such as employment status, income of graduates, gender, marital status, family income, materials presented in textbooks, university educational facilities, and weather conditions with students' academic lack of motivation was examined. The unequal two-stage cluster sampling method was used to collect sample data and the required information, and the multivariate factor analysis method was used to examine the internal correlation of variables and also to find the main factors by predicting the amount of variance of variables by factors. The effect of variables on students' academic motivation has also been examined.
